Help Light Up the Sky — and Their Faces!
Significant planning and fundraising has been accomplished for our 2015 Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks Display event, however volunteers are needed now through the event on July 2nd. Medford Celebrates is looking for people who can donate their expertise or a small amount of their time.
We need volunteers to assist with the planning, promotion and implementation of the event, including volunteers to man our Welcome tents, hand out sponsor and event information, and perform other light tasks. Everything you need will be provided – including a great viewing spot, a great parking spot and a t-shirt! Sign up for the length of time that works for you – event day volunteers are needed from 12:00 noon through 12 midnight. Due to logistics and the amount of time we need cover, volunteers must commit to a minimum “shift” of three hours. If you want to get involved and help us light up the sky – and the faces of thousands – we would be most appreciative!
Whatever time or skills you have, please don’t think it won’t be enough. Any time commitment or task you could complete would have an impact – please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
